My week away in the Shropshire Hills, surrounded by writers. What a fantastic time it was!  

In July I set myself the challenge to write 50k words in one month. And I did it!

But it was hard.

On Saturday 30th June 2018 it was the National Writers’ Conference at Birmingham. After negotiating the trains I had to take, I walked into the University of Birmingham’s Bramall Music Building under hot, sunny skies.

A Victorian house, 26 acres of grounds, and a perfect place for a congregation of writers.
